Maybe some of you guys know him, Travis from winner ford with the sonic blue 03 cobra. He's been dissing lots of people's cars and lying about how fast his is. stock eaton, 75 shot and a few bolt on's, yet he says he puts 660 to the tires and runs 10.66. He keeps popping the trunk and saying shit like "don't make me use this". He talks shit to guys who are clearly slower than him and challenges them to money races. Somebody needs to either take this kids money or his car. I'm thinking Eric with his sleeper would be the perfect candidate, at least for a money race. He hasn't challenged or ran his mouth to me yet, I think he's heard a couple of stories about my car and plays the "ignore the guy who might be faster" game. What say you lads? Next time he's out running his mouth who wants to shut him up? I can give a call to anybody interested next time he's in town. My motor is toast and in no shape to be sprayed right now or I'd do it my damn self.

Hey everyone, I'm new to this site...........

I got directed here from another site, where we were talking about possibly the same person?

Last saturday night, I was over in philly, checkin out the import cluster fuck on my bike. Before I went home I swung by the mcdonalds \ homedepot parking lot off of delaware. To my surprise I see a hand full of mustangs.

Blue 03 Cobra, Orange mach1, grey gt with a saleen body kit.

I pulled in by myself, just to meet the guys and possibly see whats up? Usally fellow 03 cobra owners get along well.

I stood back and listened for a few minutes as this guy was broadcasting he made 650 something rwhp and 750 something .... ugh ugh ugghhhh yes a tim allen style grunt "foot lbs of tourqe" he says.

I ask him what it runs and he says 10.60's etc.. etc... I called bullshit, he seemed to get mad and open up his hood. I saw a nozzle, a jlp cold air box, an upper pulley and thats it. Now it might have a lower pulley, didn't look, and he said the stock t\b and blower was ported.

I tried to talk nicely to him and tell him I have an 03 as well and already blew it up. Tried to give him a couple tips about the frps blowouts etc.... I was telling him about the stock pistons being junk, because ar 21lbs as he claims, thats to much heat from the eaton to handle street abuse. Look at my aol homepage and see my pistons..... He just seemed way to over cocky and assure of himself, and responded with I have manley pistons?

Way way way to sure of himself.... and did I say cocky?

The car has delaware plates, and dumps? Who puts dumps on an 03 cobra??

If he thinks his 03 is unstopable, boy I can't wait to bump into him again on the road or at the track.... I love a little competition :)

Man I hate people like that....Anyone that is that cocky about what it "runs" most likely has never gone that fast. He probably read what some stripped out 03 with the same mods ran on slicks and figures thats what his car runs. You know of a safe spot for a street run and I may be interested in a trip down there.....people like this are why I am gonna miss running NA...It was so fun to shut down blower cars and pop the hood to a stock motor :)

well, here's the skinny on his car. stock eaton, upper blower pulley, supposedly ported tb and blower (can you port a blower?), dumps and nitrous. i've always seen him on street tires. we had a couple of cars looking for him (10 second plymouth scamp, has nitrous but hasn't used it yet, glen with his 3rd gen camaro, also a 10 second car, matt (nostang) with his 10 second camaro) but when it came time to get down to business, he was nowhere to be found. i don't see him out every weekend, but when he is out he's either in suburban plaza, park and shop or burger king in newark or at the dunkin donuts on kirkwood highway. i've also heard he runs through painters crossing from time to time. i still want to see eric piss all over him. :D

Sent him a pm and posted about having a few guys willing to line up with him over at delaware street racing. now we'll see if he's game. if anybody really wants to run this guy, let me know and i'll try to set it up. i told him street or track, money or not, it's his choice.

Anywho, I see that knuckle head almost everyday since he works next door at Winner Ford. Car sounds like a stock cobra with dumps. Also sounds like when he gets on it on Cleveland ave, that he can't drive it.

Yea, he called me a lucky motherf*cker one night while cruising in a friend's Trans Am. It's a 13 second car, yet he wouldn't line up with me. I was on 202 with the road completely empty, he just sat there in the turn lane and didn't come. Raced the Orange Mach and the Grey GT though, fun cars.

Unfortunately he doesn't know about the community aspect of it. No one respects him, and it's really a waste to run him.

With the apten ported blower and a 75 shot, blower pulley, etc.. like you mentioned it IS possible to get a 10.6 but i honestly doubt he has. If you can really set this up blckstngsaid hed take the run and we can get another car (mine or buddies) also that will easily take the run against him >>

well, he hasn't been out in quite a while. i think he realized how much he pissed everybody off and is letting things cool down. i can't say i blame him. i've talked to him earlier this summer and i did tell him, the easiest way to gain respect is to run some fast cars and chill the attitude out.

I am a member of the first state mustang and ford club and we hold 2 shows a year at the winner ford in newark. Travis Cooper has always had a I'm better than you and my car is faster than you attitude. Me nor anyone else I know likes him. He is very cocky. He always acted like a jackass when he got a trophy at the show. I haven't seen him for about a year now. Last time I saw him was when he first got the 03 cobra and he had it at the show.

He came up to Painters Crossing one night and he was scared to race me or my buddies 96 SS Camaro for money. I ended up racing him for no money...I won by a good 5 car lengths but his blower belt broke. The relay for my inline fuel pump took a dump so its not like either of our cars were running right. He said he would be out next weekend for a rematch but he never showed up.
