I read somewhere that you don't need a big burnout per say, just a small one. I did the burnout but only stayed in it until there was just a whisper of smoke, then let out and went forward.

The car actually hooked better, and my 60' went from high 1.7's to low 1.7's

There was no tire spin or bog when I dumped the clutch at 4500 and 5k. It just bit and went.

You need a tach so you can stay consitant with your RPM during launches and shifts. At least get a shift lite.
