For some reason my car is blowing alot of oil smoke out at the top of 3rd gear, it dosn't so it in 1st or 2nd, but it blows alot of smoke out the tail pipes for about 5-8 seconds... I put a new upper and lower on it, so I replaced the PCV valve while I had it apart, but I couldn't get the mesh screen that sits under the PCV that day... I'm going to order it(If somebody has one laying around they could hook me up with, that would be great :) ), but I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions on what it could be? I'm hoping it's just the mesh piece, but that sounds way too easy of a fix, with my luck... The PCV line isn't crimped, a buddy of mine told me to do away with the PCV system and just put a breather in the back, but I don't think I like that idea... Thanks for any suggestions you can give me...

You can get those screens for like 6 bucks at a ford dealer. I was thinking maybe valve seats, but they would have to be in pretty bad shape to throw alot of smoke.

What intake. I've had problems with TFS and Cobras sucking oil into the intake on a few different cars. You just may not see it in first or second gear?

Are you sure it the "RIGHT" PCV. Everyone says to run a TurboCoupe one on a blower car, I did and it smoked like a 305 Chevy with bad valve seals. Put the right one in FIXED. From me a Ford PCV is $6.31 CCR price and the screen is $4.59 CCR price. Let me know I can have em to you in a day

The main probelm was after I got it all together it wouldn't run right... We gave up on it after 2 days of messing with it... Turns out the Adjustable FPR was bad... So I had to pull everything back off and switch FPR's.... I had alot of other problems, like vaccum leaks, wrong gaskets, and other small things breaking, the main problem was it was a Sunday evening when we were putting it back together so we couldn't get any parts... Also, I have to have other people do all the work because of my back being in really bad shape... After a few minuts of bending under a hood I can barley walk... I have to give 90% of the credit for my car running to Kris(IllDrag), he's has hooked me up with alot of free parts, showed me alot of stuff, and done alot of the physical work.... He's a life saver :D
