How do you like the Stage 1 cam? I always wondered how they were. Do you still run the 95 computer and is it ok with it?

The cam is awesome !!! The motor doesn't have much bottom end but after 2500 it really wakes up. The only problem I have is with the idle surging sometimes and when I come to a stop the rpm's come down slow and hang at 1500 for a few seconds. By the time I come to a complete stop it drops down to idle 1000. I had the idle set at 800 but it would surge all the time and eventually stall if you didn't baby it. The computer is stock. for now :twisted: :twisted:

Cool....I have the stage and love it too. I bet the pih kit or a PMS would really wake that thing up and fix the idle. I know Bob (rel3rd) just added a pms to his and it fixed any and all problems the 94 comptuer was giving him.

pih will fix that, it did in my case. the pms will fix it better. :D

I can live with it for now. I'm trying to save money up for the turbo build up. I will eventually have a FAST system or maybe just blow it thru a carb.

Hey, those are nice pullies you have on the idler pulley, and the power sterring pump. where did you get them, and how much?

The PIH did wonders for all around power on my car,and then when i piggy backed that with a PMS it was great (too many piggy backs? :shock: ) Looks good,i liked the TFS#1 in my car as well,for the entire 300 miles i used my car after the swap :roll:
