Well i know i dont post much but i thought i would mention something haha....edge converters do kick ass very much....i just got one of their street edge convertors...it flashes around 3300-3500 and foot brakes around 2500.....before the converter i went 14.16 @ 98 mph with a 2.2 sixty....the car went 13.78 @ 97 mph with a 1.86 sixty...now this is with m/t drag radials on some heavy ass cobra r"s...my car only has maf/tbody/gears/exhaust so you tell me if thats good...im still new to drag racing and need to get on some skinnes and slicks...

That's awesome. I have heard nothing but good thing about Edge converters. I might talk to them about doing a converter for me when I get my c4 since everyone likes them so much.

yah i had mine "customized" by andre at edge...he told me exactly what i needed for my set up and i believe you get one free stall and it cost 80-140 for more than one...but its practically getting a BRAND new converter over again is what he told me....it comes with a 1 year warrenty and so on...they are a great company took week and a half to get it...and i am totally happy with it...

hey rsw007, what converter are you using? How many rpm's does it stall at? I'm swapping in a TCI c4 with a trans-brake and i have no idea what converter to use. My set up is mostly stock with everything , and i mean everything gutted . I plan on doing h/c/i this summer and maybe a turbo or spray. Thanks in advance.

Thumbs up for Andre at Edge, my cousin and I are multiple repeat customers of his. The last converter in my Z was a Pro Race 3800 - worked perfectly. My cousin has had 2 different Edge converters in his 1996 Caprice - 11.8's cutting 1.59 60's last year.
Andre has superb customer service also.

Another happy edge customer here! When I first installed it I had completely worn out trac loc with 160k miles and one bald nitto spinning and knocked .3 tenth's off of My 60 and ran a 1.75 60 ft and knocked over 1/2 second off My 60. I have a detroit locker in there now with ET street's and have cut a best of 1.58.

man this thread is old,
BUT ANYWAY
my car has gone a best now of 10.79@124 1.46 sixty with the same converter but it was way to tight so i had it restalled and upgradded to the Pro Edge and had a "new" stator on it and hoepfully it will be a monster even more now with the converter and t-brake :D
