First batch of.......

I put my first batch of synthetic motor oil in today. The engine has about 45 passes on it, so i felt it was ok to make the switch now. I went with Castrol Syntec.

Hoping to see some gains next time out..............or blow it up, ..........cause you never know, lol

Your not supposed to run synthetic with a freshly built motor??....i never know that.....explain some please lol....enlighten the dumbass!

You need to use standard oil to start with to insure good wear patterns in the bearings in the engine. I am far from an expert in this area, but that is what I been told.

Rings will not seat if you use synthetic in a freshly rebuilt engine. you need to break it in on regular oil, most recommend 1000 miles or more.
