It did run outta air...............just 14lbs spinning it just a tad over max. The heads are my biggest restriction. Now I have some hogged out castings with some screw in stud mount rockers. Maybe I can shift this thing at 7000 like the cam was cut for..........

oh yea I have a YS in the garage also.

should be fun this year.

Thats a great pass! Who's AOD? Seems to work pretty smooth. I running a combo much the same but I'll be lucky to run mid 11's. Where do you have the timing set with the Mr Freeze? I just going to be putting it on and would like an idea of where to start (I'm also running 14 psi on my 357).
Any help would be great. Thanks

I built the AOD, lentech full manual with a TB, Neil Chance 4500ish converter. I ran 26*@6000 with 14lbs of boost on 93 with Mr Freeze kit. If you car is already tuned and you put the kit on you will drop some power. You will have to walk you curve up on the meth. You'll like it.....

Thanks. I've no tune on it yet besides my own which is just MAFtuner, fuel pressure, BTM. Have been thing about getting a PMS. So how does the 4500 stall work on the street? Is it a lock up or non lock up converter? I ordered a 3000 non lock up as the way it sounded to me that the higher the stall above cruising speed the more heat will be put into the tranny. What gear are you running out back? What RPM does it rev at 60 mph? How long does your meth last on the street?
Thanks for all the help.

the 4500 isn't bad at all on the street. I cruise about 65-70 @2200-2400 range. It does jump to 3-3500 real quick but moves on out from there. I had one cooler up front and it would heat soak on a 30 min drive and crawl up to 210 or so. I added a second cooler in series with the first and now I have no problem with heat soak on the highway. I run a 3.55 gear on a 27x11.50 hoosier. Need to set up the rear end so it will hook on the new setup. Its my weak spot at this point of the game. Old school HP mega byte Jr's with stock boxed uppers with polygraphit bushings. Which I think is all shot........

the Mr Freeze is a smaller bottle. If you go with the Snow kit it has a pump and a much larger reserve. I used 1/3 bottle on a full pass. the new kits have a larger bottle then my early kit. I love running pump gas.

RdRnnr.........thanks. Did you hear anything from stlm? I posted a ? in the mod forum.

Pretty good times for a S-trim. I should have ran my car with the SQ to see what times I would have run. Now I have a YSI on it and hoping to run 9.80's.
