I bought a Lentech Street Terminator Plus AOD and wanted to know a few things. Len emailed me and told me the shift points were 5200rpm 1-2, 4800-5000rpm 2-3. Is there anyway I can change the shift points? I was thinking maybe the trans shift cable or something. :?: :?: :?:
Also does anyone know what the gear ratios are for the stock AOD?
Thanks in advance :)

Gear ratio of stock AOD:
1st = 2.40:1
2nd = 1.47:1
3rd = 1.0:1
OD= .67:1
As for changing the shift rpm...doesn't that tranny allow manual shifting?
If not, I'd call Len and ask for your options...

Like Bob said the "street terminator" valve body normally allows you to shift at whatever rpm you like manually. I know mine did and I could shift it whenever i wanted.

I got a reply from Len and he says the max shift points can't be adjusted. So I guess I'll shift it manually then. RdRunnr...what does manually shifting do to the life/longevity of the trans?
Thanks again guys :D

Manually shifting it using the LenTech valve body causes absolutely zero problems and is actually what it is designed to do. The only time you have any problems, or chance of problems, manually shifting an AOD, is when it still has a stock valve body. The stock AOD valve bodies aren't designed or intended to be manually shifted. Hope this helps...
