Ok guys, I have some question and I hope you all can help. I finally made it to e-town this week and ran an 11.54 @119. 60FT was 1.619. I have Stock bottom end and cam, GT-40 casts, GT-40 intake, 3.73s in rear and an S-Trim. I made 450 RWHP on the Dyno. Since it was my 1st time racing the car with this combo, I'm sure I can pull some better times. I just need to know if my current time is a good foundation to work with? What's the average 60ft time for this set up? Now that I got my 1st taste.... I want more !!!! Can ya help?
Thanks,
Jay
thats some really good driving. depending on your suspension / tires if you can pull a 1.5 60' you can probably get a 11.3-11.4
some great power with that simple setup :bangbang:

Thanks !!! I'm now putting together a list of things to change...shocks\ struts , upper control arms..etc. I'm just wondering what's the common 60ft time is with my combo. If I can get into the 11.30's that would be nice.
my best 60' with the stock suspension was a 1.62 but the car was still all over the track
whats your fuel / timing set at?

It sounds a little low, but the car is both Jimmy C built and tuned, so I am sure it's dead on. Are you running 42's or 50's? I know with my 50's he set my base at like 35ish and used the extender to control the a/f.

I think the shocks/struts and removing the sway bar will definitely make a huge difference. If you're going more performance oriented you might want to think about the rear bushings, but they make a lot of noise on the street.

I have 42lb's...We had it on the dyno, Jimmy made adjustment and had the fuel right on the Bullseye. Gonna have to work on the suspension and put more time in, behind the wheel. I also have to pay Rhodes, beforew e-town kicks me out.

Pay Rhodes a visit is what I meant to say^
getting kicked out is the best part. i can't wait to see their faces when my new setup makes a pass
