Went out to the track tonight to make a few passes using the transbrake. Well here is the first pass off the trailer

That pass off the transbrake. I still need to lear to do it alittle faster due to I manily bracket race more and my r/t was a .391 Oh well

Next pass, I didn't get the tires burn off right and I spun

But they told me they were only allowing street cars and I needed to show some type of insurance. But I didn't have any on me so they wouldn't let me run. All I really need is a insurance card and that should do. I really doupt the inspection will be in affect. Oh well I still got a new best and got to watch a few races.

Have you ever considered gearing your car up?....... to run the 1/8 mile only.......... seeing that's where you seem to race.

yea it was a thought, but I don't see it happening :D. I still would like to make the 1/4 mile without any probelms and not reving the shit out if it. I'm trying to keep the rpm's under 5800 so the motor will live.


heck its just a stock explorer short block, I have to play it safe also since it has never seen dyno time, so I have no idea where my a/f ratio us ;)

Hell yea it would, with some 4.56 gears and about 15psi, and be shooting for a 5 :D Oh yea I have thought about it ;)

I run 4.56's now, I'm talkin' some 6.15 or better. :D 8)
