I want to know is it a must that you pull the revs up while while your foot is still on the footbrake and you have the t-brake button down? Somthing to the effect its building pressure up in the tranny?

Casue some times when I'm staging it, the car will hop on me when I let off the foot brake. What am I doing wrong? can I just stage the car, push in the button, let off the foot brake and then WOT?

Thanks Brandon

They say its good to bring the rpms up a little before you hit the button, I usually go up to about 1500, then creep into the second beam and nail the button, then nail the pedal to the floor.............the car rocking is not abnormal, some cars do it worse than others.
