Any of you guys know of one of these tools? I have them for many of my euro cars.

I had to R&R the balancer here, but I would really prefer not to jam the flexplate to retorque the thing.

Thanks

I don't know of one specific I guess the other solution is to use a wrench on the bolts from the bottom and put a screwdriver through the starter hole for windosr based blocks and a socket on the converter nut through the rubber access plug on modulars.I always hold the crank with a wrench or socket.

Whoops!

Probably I should have said for the Windsor family!

i usually screw two of the pulley bolts halfway into the balancer, then place a large screwdriver/prybar between the bolts to foul the crank while i tighten the balancer bolt, that way you dont have to strech between the bellhousing and the balancer.

I'm with Alan, I just always hold the crank, then I can turn it when you need to tighten the other converter bolts

i thought he was wanting to tighten the balancer bolts after R&Ring it??? when tightening flexplate to convertor bolts, i justput a large screwdriver thru the flexplate fouling it against the block spacer, when tightening the flexplate to crank bolts, i have a flexplate holder, like this one...
