Is anyone running cometic head gaskets? I've heard alot of good things about them. I wanted to find out if it's all true or not.
Thanks,
Mike

I am using Felpro's 1133's...they are a multilayered steel gasket. very similiar to the Cometics...I havent blown a HG yet, but i think with the stock 7/16 arp bolts the heads want to 'lift' under alot of boost, and that is where the 1011-2's blow out so easily, IMO...

This is what they look like: they are about $60-70 each.

I've never seen those before! Are you running 1/2 inch studs?

Oh ok cool. I might try them on the next motor I build. We just got a set of cometics for a nitrous 347. Can't wait to see how they hold up!!

I have read a lot about these 1133's lately...they are supposed to be pretty damn good too. Summit carries them for 69.69 which is the same as the cometics are going for now. How are they holding up?
