Anyone have any input on using the stock shifter lever? I have the 94 mustang shifter cable and shifter lever that was originally with this transmission. I'm trying to figure out if I can mount the 94 shifter lever in place of my 93 so I can have the button and wires already in place for the O/D button. Silverfox???

I would use the STOCK vb in place of the transgo unit first....you might find tunning it in much more pleasant.

I am good friends with one of the best tuners in my area so the tuning part I have covered. How about the shifter? Stick with 93 or go with 94? I'm trying to button this thing up soon but I can't find any information. Baumann says you need a shifter cable from a 94 mustang but the end that snaps onto the buttom of my 93 shifter lever is too small. Not sure what to do at this point and I don't want to start modding things if there is an easier solution. Gators post is something I would be interested in if I am forced to use the stock shifter.
